2011 Fundraising Opportunities


Through the 2010 Season, only 30% of families participated in all fundraising activities/season buyout. It is our focus to increase this to continue the Vipers program growth. We are always open to ideas so please, feel free to throw any our way.

It will be REQUIRED that all families participate in fundraising be it through our buyout option, concession, Little Ceasars, Lake House, bottle collection, volunteering for coin drops and the Legion Dinner.

Fundraising will be:
** Can/bottle collection. Rather than doing a one shot bottle drive, we are going to be holding a season long can/bottle collection. The Tucker's will be picking up at each practice any returnables you have, be it 2 cans or 100. With summer here and parties/bbqs, this should be an easy and financially rewarding way to raise funds.

** The Lake House will be donating a percentage of proceeds from meals purchased (date to be determined). Dinner on the dock looking out over Lake Bomoseen, especially at sunset is worth it.

** Little Caesars is back again for all you pizza lovers! Each family (not each player if you have more than one child involved) is asked to sell 10 kits.

** Coin drops in Poultney and Castleton (dates to be determined) will be held and players will be asked to help out if available in their Viper jerseys.

** October 8th is Poultney's Homecoming. We are planning a chicken n biscuit dinner at Post 39 Legion in Poultney. We will be asking for food donations to help cover the overhead costs as well as baked goods families may want to bring for deserts.
